First Impressions Since I have already owned a M&P15-22 rifle for about 5 years, it is hard to give an unbiased first impression on the rifle. One thing that has always stood out is that the M&P15-22 is very light weight. I am a fan of slim handguards and this new rifle having them is a great improvement from my perspective. The Magpul MBUS flip-up sights are also an improvement over the original sights.
